Cement mason — Yancey County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Yancey County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
