Refrigeration technician — Floyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Floyd County, Indiana. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. Your main tasks: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
