Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Le Sueur County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy garment factory. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Rotating shifts.
