Bar bender and fixer — Baker County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Baker County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Rotating shifts.
