Now hiring: we are hiring a panel beater in Bond County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes On the job you will handle: • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
