D6/D8 dozer operator — Kearny County

Join our team: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Kearny County, Kansas. You will be based on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
