TIG welder — Perry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Perry County, Alabama. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
