Backhoe loader operator — Harrison County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Harrison County, Texas. The job is at a plant hire yard. Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Day to day you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; check for underground cables and services before digging; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
