Pastry baker — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Marshall County, Iowa. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
