Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The role involves weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
