Toolroom milling operator wanted in Derby

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Derby, England. You will work in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Pay around £2,950 per month, based on your experience.
