Immediate opening: power float operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Transylvania County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
