Brick mason — Geneva County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Geneva County, Alabama. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
