Die-casting operator — Morris County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Morris County, Kansas. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
