Machine operator — San Diego County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator in San Diego County, California. You will work at an injection moulding unit. Day to day you will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; set up and start the machine as per the job card; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
