Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Candler County, Georgia. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
