Insulation installer • Ottawa County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring an insulation installer in Ottawa County, Michigan. You will work at an industrial plant. The role involves: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness What we are looking for: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Full-time with occasional weekends.
