Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Ashe County, North Carolina. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence On the job you will handle: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
