Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Dawson County, Nebraska. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. The role involves check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; score the top of loaves before baking; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
