Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Wahkiakum County, Washington. The job is on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Six days a week, one day off.
