Backhoe operator — North Lanarkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing 1+ years on the tools preferred. £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
