Sample machinist wanted in Sawyer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Sawyer County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 4+ years on the tools preferred.
