Site dozer operator — Mecosta County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Mecosta County, Michigan. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Your main tasks: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Rotating shifts. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
