Waterproofing applicator — Guma

Vacancy available: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Guma, Benue State. You will be based on a construction site. You will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
