Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Warri North, Delta State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 3+ years on the tools preferred.
