You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
