Great opportunity: access control officer (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an access control officer in Smyth County, Virginia. Day to day you will frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
