Now hiring: formwork carpenter (Jigawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Gumel, Jigawa State. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦225,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
