Overlocker operator — Clarendon County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Clarendon County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Six days a week, one day off.
