Hydraulic crane operator — Pope County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Pope County, Illinois. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
