Bricklayer wanted in Fulton County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Fulton County, Georgia. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Performance bonus on top of base pay.
