Rigging foreman — Geidam

Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Geidam, Yobe State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
