Furnace operator — Odeda

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Odeda, Ogun State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
