D6/D8 dozer operator — Tensas Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections On a typical shift you will cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid.
