Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Sagadahoc County, Maine. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
