Urgent requirement: tower crane operator (Mississippi)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Forrest County, Mississippi. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
