Hydraulic crane operator — Sheridan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Sheridan County, North Dakota. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time with occasional weekends.
