Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Ashland County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence 6+ years on the tools preferred.
