Brick and block layer • Doncaster, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Doncaster, England. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Pay around £2,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
