Concrete worker — Ikono

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. Your main tasks: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
