Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation.
