Hydraulic crane operator — Amelia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Amelia County, Virginia. The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
