Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread baker in Orange County, North Carolina. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
