Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled.
