Milling machinist — Angus

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Angus, Scotland. You will work at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
