Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Major County, Oklahoma. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
