Backhoe operator • Tipton County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Tipton County, Indiana. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
