Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Upshur County, Texas. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand.
