Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Henry County, Alabama. You will work at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
