Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Addison County, Vermont. Day-to-day duties: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Requirements: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Willing to travel between sites Overtime paid at a premium rate.
